Practicing Hatching on my Mosque Sketch

July 17, 2014 By: Aggiecomment

I’ve never been able to do cross hatching or hatching properly.  I’ve seen it done on many sketches and drawings and have often admired those drawing because it gives the drawing such depth and brings it to life.

I was watching a YouTube (my friend and my teacher) on how to use cross hatching by drawing a mosque.

I actually think my attempt is quite good.  I very rarely draw in ink and not apply colour as you’ve probably noticed.

What do you think?
