One of my homework assignments for Sketchbook Skool was to find an interesting piece of toast to draw. It had t o have craters and features that would require us to actually “see” rather than just looking and seeing a piece of toast. This thing we called toast, for this exercise had no label nor name.
The whole point was to draw what we see not what we know!
I got to know my toast very well…although I don’t eat toast….very much
I have to admit I really enjoyed this, I found it completely zen.
