I had a little arty getaway with some arty buddies (not my sketchy buddies, same same but different!) . These ladies are exceptionally talented exhibiting artist, ranging from realism painting to, whimsical naive, abstract, mixed media, semi abstract and still life, and heaps of fun.
We visited quite a few galleries whilst in Margaret River , even attended an exhibition opening on our first night. We actually surprised a one of my arty buddy’s friend. She was absolutely delighted to have not just one but five of us at her opening.
Torn….
I was torn between getting my stool out to find a spot to sketch (being the urban sketcher I am) and taking my time to enjoy the art work and sculptures in the galleries. I chose galleries. I don’t like to miss out 🙂 …So not much sketching but lots of arty talk.
I did, however manage to get a sketch in on our last day before breakfast.
I hope you enjoy this fun video 🙂
Thank you to my “videographer” (Gail) and “photographer” (Gina) 🙂
More about my arty getaway in a later post …stay tuned!
